Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques: The Neck (Part II)
In this advanced bodywork class, we’ll continue our exploration of the neck by going deeper into the "circle of tension"—a powerful network of interrelated muscles and fascia that influence the function of the face, eyes, ears, jaw (TMJ), and even sleep quality. You’ll learn how to recognize and release restrictions in this area to support greater ease, clarity, and balance throughout the upper body and head.

Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques: The Shoulder (Part I)
This session introduces the complex anatomy of the shoulder girdle, a region frequently impacted by stress, poor posture, and repetitive movement. You’ll learn to assess and address common patterns of muscular tension and fascial restriction, focusing on the deltoids, rotator cuff, and supporting musculature. Foundational techniques will equip you to improve range of motion and ease discomfort in this highly mobile joint.

Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques: The Shoulder (Part II)
Building on the foundational work in The Shoulder - Part I, this class dives deeper into advanced techniques for chronic or complex shoulder dysfunctions. We’ll explore the relationship between the shoulder, neck, and thoracic spine, and refine your palpation skills to work more specifically with deep structures such as the subscapularis and pectoralis minor. Expect to leave with a more nuanced understanding of how to restore balance and mobility to this intricate region.

Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques: The Torso (Part I)
In this session, we shift focus to the torso—exploring the spine, ribs, and supporting musculature of the upper and mid-back. You’ll learn how to address fascial restrictions that limit spinal mobility and affect breathing patterns. Foundational techniques will target the erector spinae, rhomboids, and intercostals, helping to relieve postural tension and support overall alignment.

Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques: The Torso (Part II)
This class deepens the work started in The Torso - Part I with techniques for accessing deeper layers of the back and thoracic structures. We'll explore chronic holding patterns related to stress and sedentary lifestyles and integrate approaches that impact both structural function and the nervous system. Techniques will support decompression, postural rebalancing, and breath facilitation.

Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques: The Pelvis (Part I)
The pelvis is the foundation of structural integrity. In this session, you’ll learn to assess and release common restrictions in the glutes, sacrum, and hip flexors—muscles that are often tight from prolonged sitting or movement imbalances. Foundational techniques will help you create space in the hips and lower back, improving alignment and mobility throughout the body.

Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques: The Pelvis (Part II)
This advanced session focuses on deeper structures of the pelvic bowl, including the piriformis, iliopsoas, and surrounding fascial systems. You’ll refine your skills for addressing complex pelvic dysfunctions, including low back pain, SI joint issues, and gait imbalances. Expect to finish the series with greater confidence and clarity in working with the deep core of your clients’ structural patterns.
