Advanced Deep Tissue Workshop: The Neck (Part I)
Workshop Series Overview
This hands-on workshop series is designed to help you safely and effectively release restrictions in areas commonly affected by stress, posture, and lifestyle—areas your clients are most likely to experience discomfort or dysfunction.
The Neck (Part I)
This class focuses on one of the most common areas of restriction: the neck. We’ll explore how forward head posture from frequent device use, chronic stress, shallow breathing, and the demands of daily life contribute to tension and pain in this region.
What You’ll Learn:
This 3-hour session will cover the anatomy and function of the neck, with an emphasis on fascial restrictions, muscular tension, and limited range of motion. We’ll discuss why restrictions form, how they present in the tissue, and how to address them safely and effectively. You’ll observe a demonstration and then practice the techniques yourself in guided, hands-on application.
Series Format:
This is Class #1 of an 8-part series. Each area of the body will be addressed in two parts:
Part I introduces the region, explores common patterns of restriction, and offers foundational techniques.
Part II returns to the same region, going deeper into advanced techniques to address more chronic or complex dysfunctions.
In future sessions, we’ll move systematically through the body—addressing the shoulders, back, hips, and beyond—building on each previous class for a comprehensive approach to structural release and functional improvement. (See full schedule below.)
What to Bring:
Please bring table linens, including a face cradle cover.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move and work in.
Feel free to bring a snack and water if needed to stay hydrated and energized throughout the session
Who Should Attend:
This workshop is intended for bodyworkers who have a solid understanding of anatomy and kinesiology. Hands-on experience with fascial release and massage therapy is required.

Tuition:
$100 if purchased as an individual session
$75 if purchased as a series before August 19th
